A New Day, A New Blog

Hey all. This is the blog of Dylan James Morrison, also known as Insidious. I am a DJ for Z-MZX Internet Radio, owner of the linger.whatisnotmyip.com IRC server, one of the co-founders of MZXIRC, and owner of the domains www.belsambar.net, www.whatisnotmyip.com, and www.box43.net. The first is a paid hosting service (Still accepting new members, $9 a year for 1GB of space. Inquire within.), the second is, as well as being a childish prank, the central DNS for an IRC network, MZXIRC, the third is a free MZXer hosting service co-owned by myself, Apage43, and Shatter, run off the University of Rochester campus.

Now that we've gotten through the professional introductions, lets get down the personal. I'm a 19 year old college flunkout from Peru, MA. I'm a linux user and total computer geek, an advocate of free and open software and hardware, a self-styled "Nice guy", and the happy boyfriend of a wonderful girl by the name of Courtney. I'm currently trying to get into the local community college in preparation for eventual transfer to RIT.

Life is pretty swell. I'm still dealing with intermittent problems of self-esteem and depression but therapy and pills are helping me, as is the support of a great community of friends. My Aunt is visiting and I'm seeing pictures of my cousins for the first time in a while. They sure have grown. My favorite cousin (Yes, I have favorites. Sorry Eric, James) Stacy seems to have grown from a tomboyish little girl to a very pretty young lady. The two who were just babies when I knew them (Hannah and Stephen) are now on the threshhold of puberty... Kinda goes to show you how time catches up with you, huh? :D
